Julian Dyson     <<back to artists

Julian Dyson, 1946-2003, was born in St Mawes, Cornwall, UK. He was entirely self taught, having his first solo show in 1972, followed by many others. He was elected  an Associate of the Newlyn School of Artists in 1987, becoming a full member in 1991.

He was elected president of the famous 'group of twelve' in 1996. He was also a talented sculptor and his work is found in private collections worldwide.
